ALL STIMULATING HORN COMBS IN ONE LISTDoctorLonghairs R.N.P. O.M.D. N.M.P. Therapist and Teacher of Horn Combs Ritual. Nutrifying Stimulating Growth and for Healing Use.Our small-farm family-sourced horn is cruelty-free NOT live harvested and our herds are rare hybrid animals from private sources that do shed their horns naturally during certain periods of their life. We never source from slaughterhouses…bad vibes free. Our combs are specially and specifically enriched. The animals also are are offered our 6.5 million year old Non-Salts as licking blocks to fortify them. Notice our combs don’t smell bad like horn products imported from China or Asian stockyards always do. Ours are cruelty free, not mass-produced, and not slaughter-house collected. Understood? OK. Our animals all organically fed, responsibly farmed and loved. The tines you might not naturally be aware, are different on each one.( tines are what teeth go through the hair). These all-natural horn combs must be kept dry and occasionally oiled. Note if you are Scritching (our term) regularly with our scalp oil #18, this takes care of the extra oiling and extraneous oiling is not needed. A well used comb with our products in use will be fine and won’t need extra comb-only oiling. Beware of using other non-recommended oils on Scritchers such as non-Longhairs/Hairgasm EOs and/or jojoba as these can cause the comb to be stresses and possibly ruined deep in it’s fiber. Thank you for choosing Longhairs and Hairgasm… the impeccable quality and ethical and reliable source of Scritchers and Horn combs. Use as you would a regular comb on dry or oiled hair, but also on the scalp or hair on a flat-ish angle, tines edges and tips are rubbed on scalp in a sketchy motion twice daily. These are NOT chosen by hair-type or hair thickness at all but instead by all issues taken into consideration. Let her help you choose. They will all help. Choose by purpose and person’s head shape as well as ones dexterity and body build, to be thorough in treatment. Sorting people doesn’t sort ones tools, as in one’s shovel doesn’t really change with shoveling different types of snow. All versions of combs within each category or model type have subtle or strong differences, tine-count is approximated. Sizes as with many things, isn’t the whole story. Tine size has nothing to do with hair type or thickness of person’s hair, it is irrelevant.. think out of the box. Firstly, it is recommended that you begin with a Wide-toothed model, to loosen up hairs, Next it is recommended that you Scritch scalp in the Longhairs Way first with a Scritcher model and while rubbing tines flatly. Additionally it is recommended that you Scritch EXERCISING AND CLEANSING HAIR ROOTS scalp in the Longhairs Way with an Scritcher model being thorough. Next it is recommended that you re-line-up hairs and remove dead hairs and proteinize with a Larger-toothed model, Be sure to smooth ones own natural oils and proteinize through with a Medium-toothed model Finally it is recommended that you finish with a Wide-toothed model for protein. Shapes of each comb and each tine are specially designed for many many technical medicinal and professional reasons too complex to discuss, seek Ms LMLonghairs to make final choices if needed. Need help? We can pick out a few or a nice ones for you that compliment each other, however we have no time to teach you practitioner data or our trade secrets. All combs are sorted by purpose not by hair-type. they will all work provided you use them right. We sell so many of these with seldom a complaint, and we can’t teach you everything that she knows so you could be as trained in choosing as she is… but we can help with final decisions on orders placed. Variety is the spice of life. LMLonghairs will pick ones for you more accurately than a nonprofessional such as yourself. You are welcome to choose ones you like. Ox or Sheep? Black or white? Note both materials are very effective and most people like to have both deepening n their cravings as to whick they enjoy at the moment. Both colours have different Scritching benefits eg a black ox horn is often more sharpish refreshing and stimulating … you might say simply harder at any any tine count than the sheep. Ox is male and more fragile, and don’t take kindly to being dropped, while both have types have many different shapes of tines to accomplish different levels of stimulation. Sheep horn is female softer bouncier more durable, a bit moister and warm-stimulating…sheeps horn which is a more durable type horn. Both have specific medicinal values but that is more practitioner-level treatment info. Please note: with a natural substance such as sheeps horn or oxhorn …some pieces have natural characteristics like spine cracks in the non-combing part(top spine) Reason these occur is namely the horn keeps curving with age, this is natural on all thick ox and some thicknesses of sheeps horn and are checked well not to be occurring on any areas affecting the use or quality of the item. Thickness of these combs is highly valued and are not guaranteed to be perfectly straight in any thickness. The X’s are the comb’s thicknesses noticeably but still approximately that many more times more than a slender specific to that model of comb. Example 4x is a much thicker and heavier comb than a 1x. Although we have some acrylicbone combs they are the only kind that you can get wet, horn must be kept dry and oiled. Note X is only compared to others in it’s group, it’s not a measure and it is not read as ‘times’ a 1X. Slender is slimmer than 1X . 1X is typically a ‘regular thickness for that particular comb model, so 2X is a ‘2’ out of perhaps 4 or 5 thicknesses available, for that particular model. So 4 or a 5 X or the largest number and is therefore the thickest available in that model. For example children;s clothing comes in 6 or 6x that is bigger than 6 in a few spots. Larger people’s clothing in x-Large xxlarge etc. it is not thought to be twice as big as large or x large. The combs purposes are relative to combs tine shape tine legth depth of carve, material used and overall thickness. They are are categorically sorted according to the X’s.The X’s are the comb’s thicknesses noticeably but still approximately that many more times more than a slender specific to that model of comb. Example 4x is a much thicker and heavier comb than a 1x. Usually personal preference. NOTE Scritchers:…It would be considered over-simplifying if one were to imagine that a more slender or higher tine-count would alone might always make a better Scritcher it is totally not so. It depends on the shape of the tine the size thickness and shapes of the points on it and the distances in between. It’s not simple but you will always like it, or many different ones…yes all for yourself:-)Combinations therein make all Scritcher different and a variety is most efficient to cover ALL bases of Scritching. Need help? we can pick out a few or a nice one for you. Note both materials have different Scritching benefits eg an ox is more stimulating at a lower tine count and has different shapes of tines to accomplish different levels of stimulation. *FINE-TOOTHED SCRITCHERS -Stimulating Horn CombsExtra-fine and fine-tines hair combs, designed especially for stimulation, exfoliation, scalp-scritching, dry or oil-use, and flat-comb scalp rubbing on all types of hair and scalps.About picking:NOTE Scritchers:…It would be considered over-simplifying if one were to imagine that a more slender or higher tine-count would alone might always make a better Scritcher it is totally not so.
